So I'm out front watering my trees and flower beds. We barked over the lawn a few years ago, and haven't replaced the sprinklers with a drip system yet. The quotes I got last year were too high. My step-brother is an irrigation expert, and once he moves to northern Nevada, he offered to do it for way more reasonable. So for now, I do it the old fashioned way, with the hose. And as I'm feeding my flowers and trees with the stuff of life, a fine citizen from the area greeted me as they drove by. The driver slowed down, and the passenger flashed me a friendly wave with their middle finger. Cameron Park - a great place to live!

As long as you aren't doing anything against the new restrictions there, then it's none of their business what you're doing. I would have smiled and given them a similar wave back.

Do you have water restrictions and that was the cause of the middle finger? We cannot water the flowers and the lawn this year because of the drought.
