Covid Is Still Active

I got a phone call from a woman I use to work for, this evening, and she told me she haf caught covid sbout a week ago. She said, the ambulance took her to the hospital. Her brother in law has it also. She say she was so sick. She's in her 80s. We know its not gone, but people are still catching and being made sick.

Of course it's still active and around. My area is riddled with Covid but the government says it isn't dangerous anymore. BS! Pretty and I still wear masks if we leave the house and use sanitizer.

@DaddyEvil Wow. The lady that has it now, did never take precautions, she wanted to allow people in her home not to wear masks. I quit.

@popciclecold I know people are being ignorant about Covid. There are several here on myLot who keep telling me Covid is just like a cold, just get it and be done with it. They are stupid!

My brother and sister-in-law are getting over it. My poor brother couldn’t go pick up his medicine at the VA hospital (since he’s not allowed in with covid symptoms), so I went up there and got it and took it over to him. We must have been a sight, talking to each other across the yard, both with masks on! 
My brother said the booster made him feel a lot worse than actual covid did!

It is worse in some areas than others...at least not as many people are passing away now. No one around here wears masks any more though. I have 4 shots so I am not too worried. I will probably get the new shot too in a few weeks

Yeah, I had a mask on when I went to her house before she got covid. She told me I didnt need it.

That the covid will not leave this world has been confirmed by the experts of WHO. I therefore still wear a mask when I go out and maintain social distance. I also avoid going out as much as I can.
