Who would you like to meet?

A question the fifth grade ( about 11 years old) students had to answer on a poster was "If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet and talk to?"
I had not paid attention to the posters, but the young man that assists me sometimes had. He said at least five of the posters were about Bob Ross.
You know, the painting instructor from public television that liked to paint "happy little trees".
Our theme this year is "be"--be kind, be your best, be creative, be respectful . . . Our PE teacher had made a bulletin board with some of his heroes, including Bob Ross. I wonder if that is where the fifth graders learned about this kind, gentle, creative man.
I took the time to read this Wikipedia article and became better informed myself.

Yes, Jesus. You can meet him in your heart. I asked my son this question and he said Jesus, because he would like to become a disciple or an apostle.

I am stuck on the question as well. I think I would like to meet my grandmother as a young woman. She was inspiring to me.

Yes, there was. He really came to hate his permed hair, but it was part of the company logo, so he kept it.

I admired Bob's calmness.
I'd like to have met Mark Twain and, Ben Franklin. Both were such interesting men.

Yes, indeed, they are interesting men. His calmness was good. An art critic commented that Bob Ross was doing ASMR before it was even a thing.

@GardenGerty Caesar was betrayed by two of his closest friends, Brutus and Cassius. As I am Italian, we are called to vote in a few days, I follow the Italian politics, I notice that nothing has changed in Italy. The actual Prime Minister fell because he was betrayed by his closest friends. At least they do not kill them anymore.

Oh I do remember Bob Ross with fondness. He was such a soothing voice and a lovely guy.
Oh by far, it would have to be Josh Brolin for me. I would smother him with love. That is the person on this earth for me.

I agree with you on that. I know I would like to meet my grandmother as a young woman, and maybe her grandmother who raised her when she was orphaned.

Is going back in history the same as going back in time? Then I would like to meet and talk to my younger self when I was a teenager. But for a historical figure, I am curious about Jesus Christ. I would like to find out if he actually existed. He would probably be surprised to find out religion turn him into a cult.
