Weekend Talk : 10 and 11 September 2022

As usual, the Saturday morning target was to catch up on the sleep which I did a bit.
So I would try tomorrow morning as well.
I had a small local outing and eating out a bit.
The heat and humidity are back and no rains to rescue unlike what the Weather department had forecasted.
Things sometimes suddenly change.
Yet overall, 2022 has seen us having lesser rainfall than the last 2 years here around Delhi, which is worrying.
On the other hand, a few areas in India have received excess rainfall like Bangalore and other coastal areas.
Lastly, I saw an old classic action movie, about which I might talk later.

The heat and the dry weather continues here.
The only plus is the somewhat cooler breeze during the late evening time.

I have seen that somehow Weather predictions and forecasts have improved overall in the last five years.
But not that good results during the current monsoons.

There could be day to day variations but perhaps monthly forecasts could be something that might be better.

I do agree with you that Saturday is the day to catch up missed sleep during the day. Today is Saturday here and I wake up past 9 in the morning.

Indeed the best day to do so.
Yet today we have some special prayers and we had to wake up at around 6 o clock in the morning.

It's been a dry like summer, here too. Although we get bouts of daily rain. It's keeping things decent at least.

Hot and humid weather followed by rains is still fine.
What bothers is when there is a long gap.
ow, with Autumn approaching and the normal retreat time of the Monsoons from Northern India, we are not sure if the rains would immediately pick up or not?

Apart from the heat and humidity, lesser rainfall is alarming especially from the Ground Water Table levels as well as Water availability for the future.
