"Me Time"

Hola Mylot, how are you today? Its 10:19 AM here Good Morning from Indonesia. Its always good to write again here. Last Saturday, i gave myself a reward to enjoy my "me time". My wife and i are agree to give each other "me time" once a month. So, i decided to watch movie in the cinema.
My wife and i are really love watching movies at cinema but since we have a baby girl, so we agree to let one of us enjoy "me time" while another babysit our baby girl.
To be honest, after Covid, i never go to Movie Theater anymore, so doing it after so many years always made me happy. I know, without going to Cinema we still watch our favorit movies at home but the cinema experience is something that you have to feel by yourself when you are in the cinema, right?
Before went to The Cinema, my wife told me not to fall asleep at the studio, because she knew that i can easily sleep while watching something. But lucky me, i finished the movie and i was so happy that i can felt the experience again.
How about you guys? Do you like going to the cinema/movie theater?

Pretty always told me there was no reason for me to go to the movie theater because I fall asleep part way though the movies anyway. 
I can't help it. I get comfortable in the chair and just fall asleep.

@MrDenata I'm glad you chose the right movie, then.
I always like watching movies made for kids and in the US, that's not a movie a grown man should see without a child with him. Parents always think the man is there to watch their kids instead of the movie. Once Pretty became an adult, I didn't have a kid to take with me anyway, so I watch them when the movies are shown online now. *shrug* I don't get to see them when they first come out but I'm also not in danger from angry parents, either.

@DaddyEvil ofc, you dont have any reason to watch it maybe you should try another genre, DE. But since you dont like going to the movie theather, so i dont want to discuss it anyway

I do love the movies in the cinema too but have not gone in 3 years now.

That's good to give each other some time to be alone and enjoy. I dont go to theaters like you I also fall asleep and start snoring while watching movies. My kids are grown up now so we take them when we have to go out. I remember when they were young we had to sacrifice everything for them as we have twin kids.

Before pandemic, me and my children regularly watch movie in a theater once a month.
We love doing it because it is free and with free snacks too.
That is because my daughter has free movie tickets from their company.

Good that you were able to go out to the movies. Hope you enjoy the movie.
Prior to Covid, I stopped going to the cinema. As I was subscribed to Netflix before.
