One of my friend eat spicy food a lot and it can trigger abdominal pain in some people. Frequent consumption of spicy foods can trigger upper gastrointestinal symptoms in some people with indigestion.She likes chilli in her food a lot.It is not a good sign if it it's painful.You should cut down eating them.

I can't comment, as I don't really like spicy. But I've heard that--with food in general--if you eat in the afternoon and/or evening, it's a good idea to 'take a walk' (or do whatever is the most invigorating exercise you can do) after you eat.
