I'm stuffed

Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend (officially Monday) and somebody donated a whole bunch of turkey and fixings to the Centre. Since we're not normally open Mondays and Fridays we had our turkey feast today (Thursday) at noon. The turkey and stuffing were a bit salty to my taste and the veggies and smashed potatoes were a bit bland. The pumpkin pie dessert had too much spice (couldn't taste the pumpkin at all) and not enough whipped cream on top. But I ate it all, except for the dinner roll. (That I put in a baggie and will have it at home, either tonight or for tomorrow's breakfast.) Turkey doesn't usually make me sleepy but I had to lie down and have a nap when I got home. Maybe turning the light off after 12:30 then getting up at 6:00 had something to do with it. I was awakened by a robocall telling me my Social Insurance Number was "compromised".

Hmm... no wonder I couldn't find any smoked turkeys at the grocery store today. You've eaten them!

Maybe you ate so many that you ended up being sleepy. From my experience lately, staying away from laptop and drinking milk helps a lot.
