My Broken English / myLot

This is a shoutout to the whole Mylot community. I wouldn't be where I am today without the people I've interacted with here. My English is still broken, but I would say I did improve a bit

At first, Mylot was just an avenue for me to earn money online, but after a few interactions with the community I saw Mylot as an opportunity to learn and improve my English, that was about 13 years ago (my profile says so

) I may be on and off in here, but I always come back. I learned a lot and gained a lot by interacting with all of you. Thank you for opening your doors to me. If I hijacked your discussions, before, always remember that I only learned that from DE and the gang

Trivia: When I joined Mylot, there was no edit button. So when you post something without proofreading then you're in for a lot of misunderstanding

I haven't been on myLot long enough for anyone to have learned anything from me!

I've never heard of "hijacking" in the context of conversations before. Real conversations don't stay on one topic forever and ever...

Hello there ! You can still learn english by reading english books or even magazines, watch english movies or variety showsand most of all interaction with people who speaks english too.

Hello bastart I am here for the last 12 years but never met you on this site.

Yes, I also have learned a lot from this site. I dont write on any site because I can't write in good English. I didn't only learn but have made lots of friends here in these years.

I am addicted to the site as I cannot sleep till I log in here at least once a day and see what's going on.

BTW many of us learned from @daddyevil

I feel you. I can let this site go. I have to be honest though, I stopped visiting too when Mylot decided to stop paying for a while, back then. I think I may have interacted with you before, but only for a few times, then I just disappeared without notice

Nice to see you here again. Well, now a days some lady would pm me and remind me of the words I missed

It's crazy how this site survive all these years. I wish they'd stay for another decade at least. A lot for me here has happened since 2008. I think we got more mature people now and less trolls.

I come here often to enjoy my time - a part of my routine. I express myself as best as I can. English is not my mother tongue anyway but I am comfortable with it.
