Happy Wednesday Everyone! another beautiful day in my little corner of the myLot world. Morning started off chilly but it's warmed up and I switched from a long sleeve top to a short sleeve. This time of year you really need a change of clothes throughout the day as it goes from cold to hot and back to cold.
This morning my youngest daughter had to go for blood work. Since she's still having trouble driving with her bad knee her sister offered to take her. Good for me and I didn't have to get up early and could relax and have my coffee.
Both daughters came back with breakfast which really started my day off on an even better note. They brought back bagels which I haven't had in weeks. Definitely hit the spot.
After breakfast my youngest daughter went upstairs to work so I had a nice visit with my oldest daughter.
Now she went home to get stuff done and let her dog out.
It was nice to start my day off different from the daily routine.

Its the same here. Chilly in the morning and warm in the afternoon. I've been changing my clothes throughout the day from long sleeves to short sleeves and then by evening back to the long sleeves again

We started the day at 60F (15C) and it's 66F (19C) at almost 12:30 pm. The forecast claims we'll reach 74F (23C) sometime this afternoon... but unless something happens, I believe they're wrong... again.
I'm glad you got to stay home this morning instead of being a taxi driver for your daughter. (We need to leave in a short while for the DMV to get my driver's license renewed and the doctor's office to have blood drawn again.)

@Marilynda1225 I had to come home three times before I had everything they needed. Luckily, the DMV is only three blocks from my house.

@DaddyEvil at least now your DMV is done and hope you don't have to go back again soon. How often do you have to renew your drivers license? We have to do it every 4 years here

It was a nice change of pace for sure and having a bagel was a treat.
Her knee is coming along but really very slow healing. I'd say she's about 85% but still having trouble driving

When I used to take my older kids for long walks in the stroller I would start with a hoody on then take that off leaving the long sleeve shirt then I’d take that off and be down to a tank top.
Why did your daughter need blood work? That was nice of her sister to drive her!

@Marilynda1225 oh okay that’s really good they keep an eye on it. Due to the medicine my son is in for the Asperger’s and his father having a thyroid disease they check my sons blood every year to keep an eye on his thyroid levels and kidney function I believe.

My daughter needs routine blood work done for her thyroid. It's the only way they can regulate her medication.
I love cereal for breakfast and have it a few times a week.

It was a nice start to my day and the whole day went well
Did you have a nice time at the mall? Back in the "good old days' I used to go to the mall and just wander around. It was a good place to be surrounded by people without actually having to interact with anyone, window shop and just feel like I was out

We're probably getting rain tomorrow but the past few days have really been nice.
Yes I am blessed to have my kids close by and that they are close to each other too.
