It is getting warmer here

That is how October is where I live. The rains have subsided and it is getting warmer. Soon we will have to start watering the garden - atleast the smaller plants but the coconut trees can wait till December
Peppie our pet is stretching on the carpet. Normally he is seen cuddled up in the bedroom or on chairs. Peppie is feeling warm too and just see how he has stretched himself under the fan. In fact he meowed ordering me to put the fan on.

While the storms were going through and after they passed we stayed around 21C or a little below. I thought it felt great after roasting most of the summer here. (We had two months where we reached 42C several days at a time. That's WAY beyond our normal high here.)
After the clouds moved on this afternoon the sun shined brightly here but the temp didn't change much.

whether the weather be fine, whether the weather be hot, whether the weather be cold - whatever the weather we shall weather the weather whether we like it or not (lol) I learnt this choral recitation when I was a kid to know the difference between whether and weather!!

The weather in my neighborhood was warm after a small shower came just before lunch today. Another small storm is supposed to pass overnight this evening.

@LadyDuck With the kind of attitude Russia has towards the West it is good that one is prepared for the worst. Putin says if Ukraine gets NATO membership there is sure to be World War III But I do not know what it is all about.

@allknowing Here in Switzerland all the houses (included apartment buildings) must have an "atomic shelter" (fallout shelter) built in the basement. It is a room built to resist in case of nuclear attack. We use the shelter as a pantry and cellar, but it should be wise to start to move the inflatable mattress inside.

Your house looks very light and spacious.
Here it is autumn so the days are cool although often still sunny, the nights are getting cold. We are having some rain which is good because we are still in drought conditions in the south of the country.
