Taking a Little Break

Dammit. I did it again. I burnt myself out from myLot. It is what it is. So, I will still be around of course, but I am going to take a little bit of a break.
For those of you on the left you can of course call for your parties and start your rejoicing now.
Besides, I am still working on a new cover and want to get that done. Plus, we have that camping trip booked in Chatham, Illinois with the fam the following weekend so we have things to do to make sure that happens according to plan.
Onward and upward and see you on the other side.

I go through phases where I get a little burnt out on myLot, but not enough for me to take any long or extended break other than maybe a day or two.

@porwest Wow, a month or two! That does seem like a long time. If I left for that long, I would probably forget all about the site and never come back! lol

@moffittjc Usually when that happened I was somewhere else. But like you said about a lot of others, they seem to always come back, and I am no exception.

One of my sons lives in Springfield, I am familiar with Chatham. Not terribly far, lots to do in Springfield. Have a nice time!

Have you ever been to New Salem State Park? They have a campground. New Salem is truly peaceful, really nice. Picturesque. I love the old settlement, the huge trees along the river. The campground is nice and quiet, I don't think they are open in the winter, you would have to check. It's worth the trip.
