Medicare Offers

I have bern seeing on TV, Medicare are offerings plans, where you can get a card that can help with rent and food, also mortgages. I think that's really great, but it depends on your zip code. I called to find out about the one where you can get 900.00 food allowance. When they checked, of course not in my zip code. Well, she searched, and was telling me about all the plans in my area, I told her thank you, but my needle was stuck on 900.00 bucks.

That's a shame the card isn't available in your area but it might be worth looking at the others.

Don't you qualify for Snap benefits? When mom was getting Medicare, she qualified for $100 Snap benefits a month. Of course that was back in 2002, too, so it would be a lot more than that now.

What’s worse, they probably have your phone number now so you’ll get a billion phone calls from them.

I'm afraid of those plans, they're too good to be true. It could be they do not pay a reasonable amount on medical bills.
