What A Gorgeous Day Today

After several cloudy days, the sun finally visited today. I was outside most of the day. Enjoyed the sunshine so much. The cats woke me very early. So I went for an early walk. Many were walking their dogs. Always nice to see the neighbors out and I met more new ones I had not seen before. Love visiting with their dogs too. Funny, when I go back inside, my cats were smelling all over me. They were probably thinking, where have you been! They could smell the dogs' scent on my clothes. Too funny. They don't miss anything. Have enjoyed all day. A lot to be thankful for. The weather was really enjoyable. This weekend we have a major temperature drop coming. Fine with me. Will be staying inside for sure. I enjoyed being in the screen room most of the day after my walk, with the cats of course. They soaked up the sun rays and now are passed out on the sofa, side by side. Snapped this photo from the deck. You can see how blue the skies were all day. And the big white puffy clouds to enjoy. Photo is mine.

It's a beautiful photo. We have mostly cloudy skies here but it still reached 80F this afternoon. Pretty went through to the living room and asked if I was too warm also. I told her to turn the A/C on for a little while if she wanted. I had turned a fan on in my bedroom earlier as I got too warm. My eyes are swelling shut again today so I'm not sure how much longer I'll be on myLot. I'm having some trouble reading the discussion starters and responses already. I hope you have a good evening.

Thanks, I was amazed at how blue the sky was. No edits done, just made it smaller. 70s here. Sunshine finally was seen. I use ceiling fans now as well. Sorry about your eyes, what is going on with you? Please take care.

@CarolDM You're welcome. Thanks. The doctors think it's part of my thyroid problems. My eyes have been swelling shut a few times a week for about 15 years now and they're finally trying to treat the problem. I used to call in to work a couple of times a week when I couldn't see to drive.

It sounds like you had a really nice day to get out and get some fresh air. It's a pretty photo. We had another dry and sunny day here, but it is cool. I spent quite a few hours of my day in bed today, so the weather did not matter to me.

@Juliaacv I hope so too and thank you so much. No storms predicted. Rain in the forecast on Friday. But it all depends on the path the hurricane takes in Florida. And cold weather Saturday.

Cats and dogs have such keen noses. Dogs in particular always want to have a good sniff of anyone they meet.

It was a pretty day here as well. Going to turn rainy tomorrow evening and Friday with remnants from the tropical storm which went over Florida today. Like you, this weekend we will be considerably cooler, which is fine with me. Ginger knows when we have been over at Mike's Mom's, she has Daisy her dog. They are funny.

The weather looked fine there with less clouds and more sunshine. I wonder what the temperature where there? I think it is tolerable since I know in your place that is still is cool despite the sun shining that bright.

In my backyard in was in the 70s F yesterday. Too warm for me but not too bad like it was in the summer with the heat. We have cooler weather this weekend.

@CarolDM That would be 20C so basing it on where I am it is still cold in your place. Ours ranges from 25-30C(77-86F) usually on a sunny day and could reach 40C(104F) during summer.

Your sky looks so blue. I imagine how pleasant it is sitting in the screen room with your cats. The temperature is still warm and so pleasant.
