Early Dinner ~ Baked Pork Chops

Decided on an early dinner today. Baked pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans. I really enjoy this combination. Easy to cook as well.
Rain coming later. But still able to enjoy being out for part of the day. Got in a walk around the neighborhood again. Not many out today. Very quiet.
On a different note, I just read where Facebook announced that more than 11,000 employees would be fired to reduce costs following disappointing earnings and a drop in revenue. Interesting. You don't hear much of this in news, only about Twitter.
Got a few boxes ready to take to a local church for needy families. Always a good feeling to get this done. And to get rid of items I will never wear any more.
Enjoying the little things in life every single day. We never know what tomorrow will bring.
For those in the path of the Florida hurricane, I trust you are all safe. And will check in to let us know. Take care everyone.

I heard about FB. It's a shame all those people will be fired right when the holiday season starts. Not a good holiday for them.
That's great you're taking boxes to the church for needy families.

Your meal is one of Skip's favorite meals! He loves pork chops! I wonder how the firing of that many employees will affect Facebook?

Your pork chops look delicious and green beans and mashed potatoes are always good, too. 
Pretty and I were talking about making corn bread muffins with spiced browned ground beef and ground sausage cooked into them with fried potatoes on the side.
I hope you enjoyed your meal.

Sounds like a good and delicious meal. I bought some chicken for a soup, but am otherwise eating fish and seafood, unless my neighbor is the one cooking.

Yes prayers for Florida. Yummy dinner! I had Bally's chili & added leftover rice. Topped with cheese, fresh veggies and butter roll. Doctor appointment went well, not dying
. Just got seborrheic dermititis. Itches soooo bad. Got prescription ointment for it and no scratching, peeling skin and just ride it out then it'll go back to normal... poor ears.

Dinner sounds good. I didnt feel like cooking today. So I just boiled potatoes, added green beans and smoked sausage and was done.

Your dinner sounds so good. I miss meals like that. So sad about FB. It's tough to lose your job right before the holidays. I remember when the company I worked for 15 years went bankrupt. They let me go on Christmas Eve. We are currently getting heavy rain from Nicole. Supposed to get 1-2".

It sounds good. Glad you are bringing boxes to the church as well. I have some pork chops in the freezer. I might take them out and have one early next week.

I do love pork chops but haven't had them in awhile. Yours look delicious. Mine always seem to come out dry
