Since Winter Came In

The sun is out today and I’m trying to push myself out to walk, but I’m not having much luck. I stepped out on the deck and I swear I could feel the cold sinking into my bones.
I’ve missed two days though, so I must put my iPad down and get out a-warm coat. How are your walks going since the cold weather came in.

I hate walking this time of year. I live close to the mall so sometimes I will do mall walking on the days that it is too cold to go outside.

@Happy2BeMe I bundled up yesterday and went for my hours walk. I was glad I did.

I know about trying to push myself out. I've been doing that since July. I thought I could get my grandson to push me around the complex. But I talked myself out of it so many times here I am in mid-November. So, maybe in the Spring. I do stretches and upper body exercises. Breathing and yoga is where I am at.

@RubyHawk ...........Walking around inside is good too. Stretches are always a good idea.

@celticeagle I don't have much room for walking inside but there are stairs in the hall. But it's boring I walk an hour and I like to see the scenery.

The Christmas breeze seem to be gone for a while now and it's quite hot. If it is cold here many people have their walks outside

@RubyHawk It's like always summer here. But today is cloudy so it's not that hot. The cold Christmas air seem to be gone maybe on December it will come back

I haven't been out walking, I'm ashamed of myself. Yes, cold weather seems to settle into my bones!

It was a little warm still for the sweat pants I put on today, but I did it because the roads haven't been cleaned completely since Nicole. I didn't want to get cut up by flying sticks.

I have trouble walking; but I definitely would not walk in weather like this!!! Winter storm watch for Sunday. Buffalo is expecting another 20-28" of s**w. Don't move to Buffalo! They measure their s**wfall in feet!
