Cold, Cold, Cold

And only going to get colder the next couple of days here. I keep telling myself I can get through it.
George horse was hiding in his carport this morning. Out of the nasty wind. His trough was thawed so I grabbed a good heater. I did have to plug the one in thats in my pond. When we get to Monday I will be able to unplug those again.
The kids were very bouncy this morning. They didnt eat much of the hay I gave them last night. So I got them new hay today. But I think they were tasting the straw. Its different. They were wanting attention today. I told them they will get a treat later today.
For now I am going to hibernate. Its the thing to do in this weather.

I sure hope everyone can keep warm I am telling you I have a warm fuzzy sweater on and even though this morning it was 55 in an unheated drafty Florida apartment it sure feel much colder, I hope you have a good weekend,

I don't think I could do it at 55 inside for very long. I get so cold...and I wear a warm top, jeans, and a sweater in the house. I hope you can all stay warm. The wind here was bitter today, too.

Our real cold like this weekend is usually January and February. We will warm back up to 40s after the weekend

@wolfgirl569 I'm glad you're warming up to the 40s. I remember when you didn't want to go out to feed the kids because it was in the 40s - too cold. Now, it's colder and 40 is warm.

@just4him Come spring I will be in a t-shirt when its high 50s to low 60s. But a month or so later that will start feeling cold after getting in the 70s and more. I do adjust. I just dont want to.

@wolfgirl569 You are right and may be we could be more accurate, a knee that hurts, a back pain and we know that the weather is changing without using tech instruments.

Hibernating is the thing to do these cold days. Right now I'm enjoying my coffee and sitting under a blanket while I myLot. There's plenty for me to do inside today and I'm trying to talk myself into getting up and getting stuff done
