I tried to take a photo to show the back of the house where we’re staying at the moment. Just out of sight on the left of the photo is the entry door to the main house which has a high peaked roof like the ones you can see. There are four of these 'pavilions', each one placed a bit further back on the block than the previous,
The first pavilion is very close to the water. The peaked roof on the left is a double garage. The next peaked section is our unit with the entry door visible to the right of the garage and the final peaked roof section is another garage and workshop. There is a large paved area which contains a caravan, a pop-up caravan (which isn’t theirs) and two boats so it is a big block.
Today is our last day so we’ll be packing up soon. We will stay tonight as the owners aren’t expected home till late evening.

@JudyEv We always had dogs and cats when I was a kid. Mom always bathed the inside dogs once a week. Dad didn't like it when they got too whiff in the house, either.

@DaddyEvil we've been in houses where the doggy smell would just about knock you over. People must get used to it as they don't seem to notice.

I used to ask guests if they got the smell of our dogs while they got in and the answer was always a no which was such a relief I have heard about people in the house getting used to the smell and it is only when someone visited they got it.

I've walked into houses and nearly been knocked over by the doggy smell. I'm sure the owners get used to the smell. These dogs were getting whiffy by the time we left. If we do it again for longer, we'd wash them after about a week. I discussed it with the owner.

Wow that looks nice, I like that tree, too. What is the red driving surface? Pavement?

@FayeHazel Most are grey-coloured surfaces but you can get red.
