We have an appointment on Thursday with the walk-in tub guy.. I have a feeling it's going to be much more expensive than we think. We shall see. Wednesday I have my bone density test. Don't know if I will be able to lie flat on my back for the duration. We shall see about that too!
Did you do any Black Friday shopping? Anything special planned for this weekend?
Breakfast - None
Lunch - 1/2 Subway chicken sandwich and potato salad
Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - White meat turkey and sun-dried tomato salad dressing
What did you eat yesterday?

@LindaOHio It was not long, I think to remember less than 10 minutes.

I hope things work out well for you on your walk-in tub and with your bone density test. Nothing happening here this weekend...
I ate two oranges for breakfast, some noodles and smoked turkey for lunch and some pizza rolls for supper.
I hope you enjoy your day.

Went to Chuy’s yesterday because I was stuck with turkey on Thursday.
Hope you can get a good price on the walk-in tub. Mine was expensive in 2019 ($14K, but that was a bathroom re-do not just the tub), so I can only imagine what it’ll be now. But I LOVE my tub. I’m still limber enough to get on the floor, so I can basically sit in warm water all the way up to my neck.

@LindaOHio — true, but you have to pay for the privilege of seeing plumber butts while it’s installed.

I have a feeling that it's going to be $10,000; and that is price gouging because you can get the tubs for $3,000 at Lowe's or Home Depot.

@RubyHawk It has to be on your back. I will tough it out. It should only be for about 10 minutes.

The tubs are around $3,000 at Lowe's and Home Depot. We shall see how much they charge for installation!!!

@LindaOHio Yikes. Everything is on the rise these days. I hope they are not made in China. Good luck.

I have a feeling they will charge over $10,000; and that's just too much.

Us too. I have a couple of things I should work on. Sealing up the Christmas cards, calling about postal rates, putting the address labels on, credit card receipts and a couple of other little jobs.

I don't have any experience with walk-in tubs, so I can't offer anything of value on that. But hopefully it is not terribly expensive for you.
No Black Friday shopping for me. No way, no how. I avoid it like the plague.
For dinner we just used up some leftovers. Can't remember what my wife had, but I had a piece of fried chicken, a piece of salisbury steak I had left, some mac and cheese and baked beans. It filled the void and killed some leftovers.

I do all my shopping online. Bought a couple of things we needed last Wednesday and saved 50-60% on what I bought. So many companies started with the Black Friday savings early this year.

Hope your test turn out good, and you can afford the walk in tub.
