We have an old pickup

We have a beat up looking 93 GMC pickup. It is a 1993 model and it is stick shift. The engine is good in it and the heater is as well. I have not driven stick shift in about 20 years. Bob will drive me to and from work today in the pickup. We are having a difficult time finding parts for my car. If I would break down and get back into driving stick, we would just junk out the car I hit the deer with, take it off the insurance, and leisurely shop for something newer. Meanwhile, Bob is up and we will leave soon. I may surprise myself and make payout after all.

If I earn 29 more cents I can get payout this month. I’ve cleared my notifications and don’t know if I feel like interacting here to try to reach payout. I think in my free time today I may want to relax and read a book. I cannot drive stick shift it gives me terrible anxiety.

I started reading a new book around 5:30 am and didn't realize how long I'd been reading it... I normally feed my fishies and take my morning meds at 6 am. I did those things at 7 am today. I hope you enjoy your day.

@shaggin You shouldn't feel guilty. You're always up way too early and get to bed too late at night.

I hope your day goes well. I don't like not having my car when it's in the shop for any reason.

Kind of feel isolated in that case. My car is sitting here at home. We possibly have found a place to get parts.

I am thinking it may have been a Daddy Buck. I would not have chosen this for sure.

Stick shift is a lot easier on gas than automatics, maybe you should try relearning to drive it.

It would be handy to have a back up.

I would be nervous having to go back to a stick shift again. I hope you make payout. I've had a good month this month but I've also spent a lot of time here.

I need to learn to drive it at least for odd things like going to the dump. I did make payout. Barely.

As you know how to drive it you would get right back in the habit. Go for it on a day off. Sorry you cant find the parts for your car.

It would be handy to drive it at least on occasion. May have located a place to go pull parts.
