Saturday Morning Brief

A good wonderful morning to everyone. How are you all doing today?
I praise God for the invention of Ibuprofen. I was forcibly awakened this morning at 2:30 with severe muscle spasms under my right rib cage where I pulled the muscle moving furniture a couple of weeks ago. I am now pain-free. YEA!!!
So, it might not have been a great waking up morning, but it is a beautiful sunny cold winter day, well if you want to get technical an autumn day. I had the wonderful privilege of seeing snowflakes when I got up. I needed to stare at the lights outside to see them, but they were there. We got overnight snow just like the weatherman promised.
I've also been out and about. I needed to pick up my medication before I forgot again. I got the text three days ago. I also finished most of my Christmas shopping for the people at church. I have one more present to find. Then I can start Christmas shopping for my son and his girlfriend.
Now, I'm listening to Christmas music on YouTube. I'm dancing in my chair, with a smile on my face, and spending time here with you before I start working on my book. I really need to do that today. It's been a couple of days since I worked on a book.
How is your day going? Is your day finished or just starting? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

So sorry for your pain. Glad the Ibuprofen helped you. Happy you saw snowflakes. And snow, congratulations to you! I can picture you dancing around to the music. That makes me very happy. Laundry here and that is about it for now. Rain off and on through the night.

@just4him Ouch! I'm sorry about the muscle spasms but I'm so happy to know the pain is no longer there! Good news! It's such a relief when a ache / pain is finally gone!
Picturing you smiling and dancing to Christmas music puts a huge smile on my face! You deserve to be having fun! Lovely photo too!
It is 2:10am here and I'm quite wide awake and taking this time to catch up on some MyLotting.

@just4him lol I think it's fine to sleep in! I think we should catch all the rest we need sometimes.
How are you feeling at the moment? Has there been anymore pain?

It's Christmas already with your festive pics. I should decorate the house too. I keep putting it off. And, yes, the gifts. There are lots of things left to do before Christmas Eve. I've got to be moving now.
It's good you have already bought some of your gifts. Good luck with your book writing.

Thank you. The picture is a few years old taken at my brother's home on Christmas.
I have a few left to get and then I'll be done and can concentrate on Christmas dinner.
Thank you. I got work done on it on Saturday.

You look so happy and Christmassy in your picture Valerie
I'm at the same point as you getting the nonfamily gifts done and then can concentrate on the family. For some reason I'm extra excited this year and the holidays.
I'm right with you about Ibuprofen. It certainly helps
Have a great weekend

Thank you. It was the last Christmas I had with my father. We were at my brother's home for Christmas.
I only have two gifts to get so it won't take long. I am so happy to give gifts to everyone at church this year. We're a small home church group, 8 adults and 11 kids, one is a college student. I just realized I need two gifts: one for the college student and another single female. Then I'm done. Then it's gifts for my son and his girlfriend.
Yes, it really helps.
You too. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
