Thursday Morning Brief

I really do get more done when I get up early versus getting up later and rushing to get everything done.
Before the sun shone this morning, I got the Christmas cards for my friends in the building delivered to their doors. There is a clip on everyone's door frame for news from the building and for what people what to give others, like Christmas cards, birthday cards, newsletters from the office, and maintenance announcements as was there yesterday. They're changing the furnace filters starting the 12th.
I also went shopping before the sun came out. The sky was starting to lighten by the time I came home. I bought the Christmas turkey and then wondered how I would get it into my already packed freezer. It's in there. I also bought a pot roast, but that's going in the crockpot. I went before breakfast because I was out of bananas.
I also have my games played, and my Bible study done. Now, I can be here until it's time to go down to play Canasta at noon. I should get caught up with the notifications from the last two very busy days.
So, while I finish my delicious breakfast that will carry me until the potroast is finished, I will be here seeing what you are up to on this fine Thursday morning.

Not really. Other than getting the Christmas cards delivered and shopping, it's been a lazy day.

@MommyOfEli2013 Today is a lazy day for me. I only exercised this morning and went to the bank. I will get down to the community room later and ride the bike. It's something I promised myself I would do every day. There are some days it just doesn't work out, but most of the time it does.

Yesterday was my long day at Guitar Center. Today is sort of a Shabbat for me. Except that I will use technology and play music as I please. You probably saw that Jimmy G. is out for the season. And yet the 49ers have a decent record. I'm not sure what to think about football, and how closely I will follow it.

It's good you will use technology and play music as you please. That's the way it should be.
Right now, I only know how bad the Packers are playing this season. This will be the first time in many years that we haven't been to the playoffs. I might have heard Jimmy G was out for the season.

@Tampa_girl7 It seems fast to me. I just received something from Amazon I ordered a couple of days ago and expected a week or so from now. I ordered books from a member of my Writer's Guild. I know when I order my books it takes several weeks because they need to print them first.

My mom used to play Canasta with her friends but it's not a card game I ever learned.
You certainly were up early and out shopping way before I was probably even out of bed

Sherlock - a match 3 game from G5 and Elvanar - a city-building game in real-time with other players. There are two tournaments going on. One is personal and the other is fellowship. It's a fun game.
