Is this really Thursday?

Too much for my busy brain. Good things slowly rising from the muck. Tuesday I took hubby to the doc. A real doctor. Not a nurse whatsit. Not an E R or Walk In disaster. Real doc told hubby to double up on the diabetes meds even though that medication has the side effect of causing your stomach to have tantrums. Hubby has had nausea to the point of having lost around twenty pounds in about two weeks. NOT cool. Driving me bonkers with his can't eat this and can't that and leave me alone. So yesterday hubby doubled up on the pills and yup, got a worse stomach ache and toward night time, a nasty bathroom accident. Guess who did laundry this morning?? I wrote a note on My Chart to the Doc last night and whoa!!! got a call back from the nurse this morning. Just wow. I found ginger in the freezer. I chopped some into hot water and had hubby drink it. I hope it helps his stomach. He also ate an Atkins bar- that has calories and protein. I figured he needed it. Today: I will go to the post office and mail off the final Yule Tales. I will mail a fruitcake to daughter and sister cause she bums for one every year. Today I will go back down the freeway to the junkyard. The tire put er on folks called me and explained how they had had a young guy putting the tires on and he had not entirely done his job correctly. Those folks called the junkyard so I should get more of my money back. Today I plan to go to the pool and maybe just take a pool nap. There are enough cute young lifeguards there to rescue me if I start to drown.

Youngsters these days don't seem to want to really work for a living so they muck up everything their bosses hoped they would be able to do. I'm glad you'll get your money back but those folks that hired the duefuss should fix your tiers free for at least the next 2 years.

Things do sound a bit on the crazy side so I hope you get to enjoy time at the pool and relax. Having cute lifeguards around can't hurt

That sounds horrible. It really sounds like hubby needs a specialist. It seems like these doctors are shooting in the dark. I would be more than a little concerned at this point.. Whereever you have to drive to, (once you get your tire situation straightend out) it would be worth it to get an gastroenterologist or endocrinologist to take a look at him and run some tests.

@wolfgirl569 I decided to just bag the pool today. I am content that the fruitcakes and ton of Tales are mailed plus the tire mess is done with. I will go to the pool tomorrow afternoon.

Even if you get satisfaction from the tire people, it's stsill been a lot of inconvenience. We had to take something back yesterday and it's a real nuisance, what with crowds, parking, etc.

I'm sorry to hear about your hubby. I wish I could help! I'm glad to hear that you will be getting more of a refund for the tires. Hope you and hubby (and the fur babies) have a good weekend.
