So, yesterday I was listening to some music with my Alexa speaker. I kept requesting a certain song and Alexa kept giving me different things. At one point, she said "I'm trying, if you want something different, try going to the Alexa app online and writing your request" Later I realized I was asking her to search for the refrain instead of the song title, My bad, anyway, we will get it right. Sorry, Alexa! Don't get your circuits in an uproar...

I don't actually think anyone human is listening. She is AI. Maybe a human will intervene if she doesn't get it right..no idea...doubtful though.

@snowy22315 They usually register the communication when Alexa cannot understand a question to check if there is a flaw in the software.

Alexa would blow a proverbial fuse, trying to answer my requests! Once, Jay asked for directions to a bank in the city. She directed him to the bank's tower! lol

Sometimes I get an attitude from my Alexa too but mostly I'm the one yelling at her when she doesn't understand what I want

@Marilynda1225 I just plugged mine in again a couple of days ago. She sat unused for months. I like to listen to her spa music while taking a bath.

Was Alexa polite lol? Sometimes Alexa or Siri cannot understand us and give us what we didn’t ask for.

My nephews will do that sometimes with the one that my sis owns...that I gave her by the way. They will ask her unanswerable questions...or questions they think she won't be able to answer.
