Many years ago I bought a tens (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) devise to recover from a rotator cuff injury.
For a long time it was in my closet although I could have used for many things. But now the therapist starts the therapy with the electric stimulation and I remembered that I had one and found it. I only had to buy the battery and it works as new. I took it to the therapist today and she explained to me how to use the several buttons.
I am very happy about this recovery as I also read online that helps with pain. I feel that I have another gift from Santa
And as I still have a lot of things to pay in the next 2 or 3 months there was no way I could have bought one.
I looked for a picture to add.

I have one of those packed away somewhere here at home. I bought it when I had carpal tunnel surgery after a fall from a platform at work years ago. I hope yours helps you with your recovery.

I won´t "recover" from arthrosis, but I want to learn to live better with it.

@DaddyEvil I hope so. Living alone doesn´t help much as I tend to walk too little.

I had surgery in one of my rotatory cuffs and needed therapy in the other. Therapy worked like magic for me but the therapist was awesome. Unfortunatly she had retired when I had problem in the other one.

@LadyDuck I am sure that if the therapist had been available then, I could have avoided surgery. She never gave up with the other rotatory cuff.

Glad you got the battery replaced and are going to start using it to help with your pain. My ex husband used one for his back and it helped him some but not totally.

That looks crazy, but hope it helps you. I can definitely understand how electric stimulation helps with nerve problems. All my nerves do is bring me pain. I am like I am glad you do not work no more because no more pain. A little bad joke for you to hopefully make you smile.

@marguicha I hope that it does the trick for you Marguicha. I know what you mean, sometimes we just do not think when we are in pain.

I used one of those when I was in labor with my son. I don't know if it reduced the pain or distracted me from it, but it helped.

I bought one for my husband a couple of years ago to help with his pain. He never used it; and now he doesn't know where it is. :-( I hope yours works for you.

I´m glad that I always kept it with my meds. So I took it to my therapist who showed me how to use it and told me to change the battery.

The tens helps with pain. I will not recover from arthrosis but my hope is that I can cope with it.
