It is a foggy day outside, and inside my head as well.
I have eaten way too many peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.
Did I tell you my sister went to the hospital? She is having trouble keeping food down, and she was chilling. She went to the emergency room and they kept her. She has an electrolyte imbalance and maybe more. It is about time they took her seriously. This is the third time in three months that she has gone to the emergency room for stomach trouble.
Bob is going through all his change jars and reading coin collecting books as well.
Heavy rain is predicted later.
I think a nap is predicted for later.
Happy New Year to all of you.

I hope your sister recovers soon. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks for the well wishes. Basically plaque in her arteries, results of years of smoking and poor eating, and possibly genetics.

It's already 10 in the evening. Heavy rains keep on pouring. I am about to sleep. Goodnight.

I hope your sister feels better quickly. It's amazing what doctors miss or overlook and then send people home without helping them...
We had heavy fog this morning up until it started sprinkling around noon. We keep getting heavy downpours with lots of lightning and thunder.
Is Bob looking for something in particular or just looking? I've found some collectible coins in my change over the years. It's an interesting pastime.
Have a good evening.

Bob has had coin books to fill ever since he was a kid. I think right now he is interested in nickels.

@GardenGerty I've never filled books with coins. I've always put each coin into a small Ziploc baggie and stored them by denomination in small Tupperware bowls. I have found a few that are worth well above the nominal value.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. Her symptoms sound like another member here. I hope she feels better soon. We had heavy rain and a temp of 63. Temps will be in the 30s by the end of the week. Happy New Year!

Years of hard living, smoking, and not eating right are the things that were wrong.

Prayers work, just sometimes not the way we would intend.

The ultimate problem was that her bowel was dying. She had plaque in the arteries that fed her bowels. She had plaque in her lungs, plaque in her brain and signs of an older stroke. Have they checked your husband thoroughly, and what are the remedies they offer?

@GardenGerty Your poor sister. My husband had the endoscopy done. They found a polyp and had it biopsied. We just found out that was benign!!! The surgeon also found that hubby's esophagus wasn't straight like it was supposed to be so he worked on that. Hubby is getting stronger. He is eating around 800 calories most days instead of toward 400. He is stronger but still not totally normal. No real remedies except watch it on eating too much sugar stuff and some carbs.
