I am quite interested in this subject. Perhaps Les Grands Buffet à Narbonne is the biggest buffet in the world and you even need to have a map so that you won't get lost when you take the food That's quite funny. There are quite a lot of nice food there. The price is about €42.90 and I think it is worth to it. However, I heard you need to book it half a year in advance

It would be fun. Some of the buffets in Las Vegas are huge..When I first saw one in the 80's, I was amazed. That is the place to pig out.

Yes, wish I can try the buffets in Las Vegas in the future Last time we had been to all kinds of science museums in California, and we didn't have time to visit Las Vegas.

If I booked it, can I stay in the restaurant for a week? My stomach is small, it can be filled only with two or three fried chicken. Even I can eat all the food in that buffet for free, one day is not enough if I have to compare with the money I spent

Perhaps you can pick the most expensive food and therefore it will be worthy

@ifa225 Here a lamb will cost at least three times to that price and of course it is a lamb rather than cooked dish

If there are a lot of nice food, perhaps it's worth to give it a try as we might be able to try different types of food there. But booking half a year in advance isn't my favorite. Who knows where I will be in half a year later? I used to like going for buffet, though I didn't eat much, I could try different types of food and I might also need to pay a lot if I eat the food individually outside. But nowadays as I get older, I can't eat much food now. Bringing my kids to buffet isn't a good idea as they don't eat much and they don't eat "rare and expensive" food.

@youless I thought there are many in China? Perhaps you have already visited those attractive ones?

I think it is not easy for a tourist to try that buffet restaurant. Today I also seldom go to have the buffets because I haven't seen such an attractive one as well as this one

I heard there is also a very big buffet restaurant in Las Vegas. LA is not far away from Los Angeles and probably you have already tried it. I love to hear that much more

@youless I love a good buffet . . . we do have some nice places in Los Angeles (though I'm sure it's not as big as the Vegas one). There are different ones with different foods . . . I do especially love the Chinese seafood ones!

It can have 600 guests to have buffet and I think the food won't be wasted. People still need to book it half a year in advance. Namely it will be full everyday

The price is fair for the buffet but for a family of 4 (like mine) it is very expensive.

@youless true! And don’t eat a lot of rice. And don’t drink water in between meals or else you’d get full soon

I'd wonder how big the buffet actually is? I have seen some pretty big ones in Vegas. My only concern with a concept like this is how much food might be wasted? I know in Vegas tens of millions of pounds of food are thrown away in any given year.
