Not What I Was Looking To Get

Your guesses were all good but wrong. They were 2 for pigs. If the winning bidder had not took all of those I would have had at least one. 2 guesses for horse or pony. That was another close one as there was a very old horse there that sold for 10 dollars. No I did not forget any zeros. But I have buried a few old animals the last few years and just couldn't do it. 3 guesses for goats which I am still looking for. No larger breeds there this month. One guess for an elephant. That would be fun to have. And then 3 guesses for chickens. I will be buying some cheap ones of those in a couple of months to start training with.
You can see the picture of Miss Eye Patch or Patch for short. She is a 9 week old border collie. And very ornery and smart. Between me and her we had no house accidents yesterday and she slept in her crate all night without any. I had been thinking of getting a farm dog to live with the chickens at night. But wasn't looking looking for one yet. But she is the right one or I would not have been drawn to her.
Hubby has decided to wait until tomorrow to go to town. They have a chance of rain for today. And it should get a little warmer tomorrow too. So I have a load of laundry in the washer and later will play in my room while he watches football. I am sure Patch will be with me.

She actually reminds me a lot of Bambi who I lost 3 years ago. But I was drawn to the crate when the Amish man came in with it. Usually I might pet puppies and then go. But these I kept going back to. And she was the only one I liked

I would be tempted to make Patch a house dog. She's really cute...and such a good girl. I don't blame you about the horse. I would hate to lose him. You have a good day too.

@LindaOHio They will just roost and sleep. They usually don't bother dogs but I have had some chase cats

Oh, she is just beautiful. Border Collies are wonderful dogs. I would have to make her a house dog, but I just love dogs. Welcome to mylot, Patch. We will expect pictures in the future!
