Good Monday Morning everyone. It's a wonderful day in Green Bay, Wisconsin where the temperature is 26 F, (-3 C). Feels like 18 F (-8 C). It really doesn't feel that cold out.
It's been a great morning so far. I'm late getting here, but that doesn't mean I was late getting up. I left the apartment at 5:15 after scraping my windows and headed for the YWCA for a nice 45-minute swim and 15-minute hot tub. It felt wonderful. Upon returning, I had time for a banana before it was time for the exercise group. We used the longer 45-minute video this morning. Then I spent another 23 minutes on the bike. Lots of exercise. It felt great to get back in the water.
I set a goal for myself of a pound a week for this year. My New Year's weigh-in was 211.4. Today was 206.4. That's five pounds in one week. I'm very happy about that.
If you saw Sunday Night Football, you know the Packers are not going to the playoffs. Our season is finished. It was a sad loss to the Lions who normally in any other year is an easy team to beat. Not this year. We lost both games to them. Losing on the home field is tragic. Oh well, it was only a game. There's next year.
Okay, that's how my day started. I just finished breakfast at 11:20 AM. Time for lunch, but that will wait until much later.

It is shaping up fairly well got some important phone calls out of the way, so that is good. Nice and sunny day feeling good for January.

That is a lot colder than what we have here.
Five pounds reduction in a single week is quite a good feat.
Sports are like that.
We might like some results and not others.
Still we can try to find fun in Sports, notwithstanding the results.
