Tuesday Morning Brief

Good morning from chilly Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's a cold one this morning at 29 F with a wind chill of 19 F.
I was only thinking about getting my first circuit in the hallway this morning and did so painfully. I did it without taking Ibuprofen first. Now, I'm waiting for the Ibuprofen to start working so I can do what I need to do today.
I need to go grocery shopping and thought I could do that today. However, if the pain doesn't go away soon, that won't happen. I also need to brush off the car from the last snowstorm a few days ago. That too won't happen if the pain doesn't alleviate.
What will happen will be getting notifications done and spending time with you and working on the study in Daniel for Sunday.
I can't make breakfast until the pain subsides, so you will need to put up with me for a little while. I hope you don't mind.
Otherwise, today started out well. I got 6.25 hours of sleep. My average. I was up at 3:45 this morning. I have my Bible study done and I just finished my games for the time being. I have 1223 steps so far today. Only 4000 to go. Yesterday I got over 6000. I'm hoping I can do that again today when the pain subsides.
So, okay, not a good report, but I'm still doing well all things considered.

I'm so sorry about the pain. I truly hope the pain goes away for you as soon as possible. It's not a nice feeling not only to be in pain but because the pain stops us from doing what we want / need to do. I'm so sorry.

@just4him How are you feeling Valerie? I hope the pain is gone or at least better.
Oh it's amazing. I so wish to see it for real one day. My friend in England had been showing me photos and videos of some of the snow they had and I wished I was there to experience it. It's just beautiful. Plus, nice and cool. It's hot over here.

@VivaLaDani13 I'm doing well. I kept the pain at bay yesterday until late evening when I took some Ibuprofen.
You don't get snow in Australia in winter? I wish for winter when it's hot out.

I hope you get some pain relief fast.
The snow looks quite a lot!

There are certain health issues in the family and that is causing some disturbance.
Still you managed good enough even with this pain.

OH MY I would refuse a treatment that involves injections, I had such a pad experience in the past with injections.@just4him (306236)

I went to the ER on Thursday with severe pain in my back. It was seizing badly. I called the ambulance. They set me up with pain management, and PT called today. I might cancel pain management. Someone told me injections are involved. That's not going to happen.

I may have missed one of your discussions, but what is causing all your pain issues? I really hope it’s not something serious or chronic.
Nothing special happening in my neck of the woods today. Just another mundane work day.

@moffittjc I have physical therapy twice a week. She was going to schedule it for once a week, but I was limping when I left yesterday, so twice it is. My next appointment is next Friday and then Wednesday and Frid to the end of the month.
I'm back in the pool this morning and went to the exercise group, so things are going well.

I was in the ER on Thursday with serious back pain. My back was seizing non-stop. I couldn't walk, so called the ambulance. Each day is a little better. I ditched the muscle relaxer they prescribed after the second dose. Ibuprofen works better and doesn't put me to sleep.

I know how you feel, been under the weather for 3 days, finally feeling better. Hope you start feeling better soon. Your photo is gorgeous, but no snow for me. Get better soon

Maybe you shouldn't be doing your circuit or pushing yourself until you are pain free. It is morning here. is Green Bay on Central or Eastern time?

My husband and I have to go to Jackson today. He had a problem with one of his crowns. It’s about a hour and 20 mins away. We have a storm coming this afternoon. I’m praying we get home before it cuts loose.

Hope the pain subsides so you can get everything done that you want. Back pain is no joke and I certainly can relate to having back issues. You do sound like you're still getting quite bit done even though you've been in pain.

It was. I just took Ibuprofen for the added pain from therapy.
