Today is the day when India celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950.
On this day flag hoisting ceremonies are organised everywhere in the country.
The parade is held in New Delhi every year on this day, which shows the country's rich cultural heritage and military prowess.
We are observing a holiday today and have watched a live telecast of the same on television.

I have been glued to TV. Today was special as my brother in law got Vayu Sena gallantry award.

@sjvg1976 Hmm...They would get knowledge from everywhere. Life itself teaches a lot and they just need to be receptive about the same.
