Coffee and My Favorite Mug

Happy Friday Everyone!! looks like the sun is trying to peek out this morning. I hope it succeeds and we have a sunny day ahead.
I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee in my favorite mug. It's a Christmas mug I got many years ago and the reason it's my favorite is because it's bigger than most of my other mugs. I don't care that I use it year round and the saying on it "Be Merry" just reminds me to be happy.
I have a cabinet full of mugs yet I always seem to gravitate to the same few day after day. But I don't want to part with all the others that are pushed to the back of the shelf either.
Do you have a favorite mug for your coffee or tea?
PS: the picture didn't come out that great and it's wider than the mug actually is, But it gives you an idea of what it looks like.

I've been drinking my tea from this cup ever since my 'baby' sister sent it to me for Christmas one year when I was still living in Vancouver (almost 30 years ago).

@Marilynda1225 Yup. It has a ceramic infuser and lid, too, but I don't use them.

I guess we all have a favorite one that's the perfect size and grip. I don't use a saucer

@Marilynda1225 - I know that you use mugs in your country, we still use a cup with a saucer, so we can place the little spoon after we have turned the coffee.

@LadyDuck I have some very pretty cups and saucers but they are shallow and don't hold much. I need a BIG mug of coffee to get my day started

That mug is really cute I don't currently have a favorite mug, but there are some I prefer for certain things, I like wide and tall ones for soup, and of course travel mugs for a beverage in the car.

My cabinet is filled with all sorts of mugs.Most I've gotten as gifts and wouldn't want to part with them.

Mine is just plain white. I got it online about two years ago. I love it, perfect size for my coffee needs and I simply adore anything white. And speaking of using Christmas items all year round, I have a green shirt with a Santa Claus print on the front that I wear all throughout too.

@Marilynda1225 That is a nice mug with a positive message! I am like you. We have a handful of mugs but there are two I prefer using over the others. I say use whatever makes you happy.

I have mugs that date back to when I first started working full time back in the 60s. One is a dark mug with mother-of-pearl fish on it.

I have m&m character mugs that I choose to use. Like you a cupboard full but I choose those ones. I love your mug. I wouldn’t be able to stand using it past New Year’s Day but I absolutely love your reasoning that really is a great reminder

It looks a very nice mug and sometimes you want one that is a just a bit bigger. We tend to use the same ones over and over too.
