A delicious Spanish tortilla for lunch.

I ate a wonderful tortilla just now. I sure was hungry!!! I caramelized the onions while I talked with Leticia. She is not in Santiago as she has 2 brothers who are very ill. She is aware that they will both die soon but has the way of thinking of many people who accept that death is part of living. She is now in Pucón (the same place where Tania lives now). The brother who lives there has been in dialysis for over 10 years. Leticia says that he looks as if he is on his deathbed now. I know by my own experience that dialysis can be a torture. My mother was on dialysis for some years until she discovered that it was legal to stop having it. Then she called us all, talked to us and decided that she would not go into that torture any longer. A few days later she died. And now medicine can have terminal patients go through a painless path. So she did it. But I should be talking about the tortilla instead of talking about death. While I was caramelizing the onoins, I discovered that I was too hungry to wait for it all. So I made a toast, picked part of the onions and ate them with the toast and finished the tortilla. It came out delicious! As I had eaten bread I could only eat part of the tortilla. So I saved some for later. Maybe after my nap. Because it is nap time, friends. See you later
