Craving Satisfied!

I was craving for a Korean dish yesterday. I searched in my pantry and fridge and found sushi rice, canned tuna, pickled ginger, smoked salmon, lettuce and seaweed for making Kimbap or Gimbap. I was happy.
My husband is not fond of Korean food. Gladfully, I still had leftover pumpkin soup from the other day for his dinner. So, all the Kimbap I made was all for myself. Happy me.
Have you craved something delicious lately? What was it?
I had leftover ingredients from my Kimbap yesterday and so I used them this evening for my dinner. I just mixed them all and ate my dinner with fried egg. I prepared boiled potatoes and spinach with cream for hubby. He ate them with fried eggs. I will cook tomorrows dinner which we both eat. I still don’t know what will that be.

OHhhhh, that looks so good!! I made some kim chee fried rice the other day . . . I had been craving that for the longest time. My son bought Korean "beef cake" from the K market the other day . . . like an egg pancake with a crumbly hamburger type thing inside . . . I want to recreate that at home 
!

No special cravings and the food you made looks so good, I really love pickled ginger and smoke salmon but have not had any in a long time, I hope you have a nice Sunday,

It's a cloudy Sunday morning here. Still stretching in bed but later will prepare for church and drop by at work to open the vault. My staff are working overtime on weekends to facilitate business permits renewal. Whole of January was generally rainy days so we understand most taxpayers cannot leave their homes so we extended services until weekend. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

We have a cloudy Sunday too at 2 degrees celcius. Freezing cold that I wear my thick winter pants when I went out to my friends‘ home. Later it was warm as we did Zumba for an hour. Thank you @florelway. It is Monday in Pinas now. Enjoy the new week. We still have Sunday evening here. It’s almost time to sleep for me.

I haven't had Korean food too often, but I do like the flavors used in it. I was just thinking the other day that I would like to have some marble cake. It has been a long time since I have had any.

Sometimes I like kimbap more than I do Japanese sushi rolls... I suspect it's because I prefer the rice seasonings in kimbap. More sesame oil, less rice vinegar.

That does sound good. I have been craving salmon sashimi but I live over 700 miles from any oceans and since getting truly fresh salmon is questionable here I just have to do without. I am not even sure if there are any restaurants here that would serve it.
