Pretty wool but I'm giving it away

I have been doing a lot of crochet lately trying to use up all my yarn. However, I will be donating the fancy yarn you see in the photo. The brand is Flutter and it’s a feathery type yarn which is difficult to knit and/or crochet. It’s really hard to see the stitches. I will take it to the handicraft group in our village and hope that they can perhaps use it in some way. Sometimes, making things isn’t worth the effort and that’s how I feel about this. It’s very pretty and would make a lovely scarf but for someone else.

At least it's not as bad as eyelash yarn, where the little bits keep shedding...

That looks just as bad. Bits of this come off from time to time too.

This is so pretty. I think perhaps it is not enough to make a sweater, but it is good enough to knit a scarf.

There is certainly enough to make a scarf. I think there are two different colours and some balls of a variegated yarn but they all look good together.

You can't see the stitches easily especially with older eyes.

I think so too, and it would be the easiest thing to do with it. Just straight work without any complicated pattern or shaping.

@JudyEv It makes sense that you want to give it away. Too bad it does not work for you. I hope you will be able to find a new home for it.

@JudyEv That happens that we buy something and find out we cannot use it so have to figure out what to do with it.

Oh you're so kindhearted Ms. Judy. I appreciate it much that you're giving it away to someone else that can benefit it. My niece also loves to do crochet and she's just learning it from video tutorials.

That's exactly right. It's not an easy yarn to work with when your eyesight isn't 100%
