My daughter wants to get/make some fudge. She likes chocolate as I do. But, what kind of fudge? There are so many kinds. You can even join a fudge of the month club. Chocolate fudge, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Maple Walnut, Triple Fudge, Microwave Fudge, Rocky Road, Coconut, White Chocolate, Fudgesicles, Marshmallow, Healthy Fudge, Pecan Fudge, 3 Minute Fudge, Peppermint Bark, Mexican, Salted Caramel, and don't forget Old Fashioned.
When I was a child and my mom and I were living with my grandparents for a time my mom would come home from work with some treat. Once she brought home a portion of a honeycomb. But at one point she came home with the ingredients and tried to perfect her fudge recipe. She made delicious fudge. This went on for several evenings. She really perfected her recipe. I wish I had gotten her recipe.
Do you have a good recipe for fudge?

When I made fudge, I used the recipe on the bottle of marshmallow creme. Then just picked the flavor I wanted. Most of the time I made chocolate or chocolate-peanut butter. But I did make some that tasted exactly like vanilla ice cream that everybody loved.

My mom made her boyfriend a yellow cake with her delicious fudge as the frosting for his birthday. It was so good.

@celticeagle That does sound delicious. I've had cake with fudge frosting. I liked it but wouldn't want to make one myself.

And, see, I go in for both. I like snacks. I am a chocolate lover. But not just any chocolate. I like the elite, special stuff. A connoisseur I guess.

Fudge is very good, indeed. I like my great-grandma's fudge (I have been making it myself the past few years) and tiger fudge is good (and the easiest recipe I think).

A few years ago, I made rum fudge for the adults. It was so good but so rich. I like to do simple fudge with semi sweet chocolate chips, sweet condensed milk, walnuts and sometimes marshmallow creme. I melt the chips in the microwave, stir in the rest and pour in a pan.

MMM. That's what I'm looking for. Rich and chocolaty. Thanks. The added rum is a great idea.

. Chocolate peanut butter is really good but my favorite is peanut butter. I haven’t made any in along time I will have to make some soon now that you have reminded me.
