Every people have some or the other work. They have complete it. But many of the times there are situation where we should complete our work during night but still we consider our sleep necessary think to complete that work tomorrow. Do you complete your work by sacrificing your sleep or you think it to do on some other day.

I'm retired. My work was in the afternoon and evening when I had a job. I couldn't finish it later.

I guess it depends on what you define as "work." I have set hours I work at my job. Everything else outside of work is not "work," and so I can choose what I want to do. I get plenty of sleep.

It's hard to work properly when you lack sleep. You make mistakes. Sometimes you also get clumsy and hurt yourself. But overtime work is unavoidable sometimes so the best you can do is take naps.

@Kawasaki01 You can use a timer, for example, 15 mins only.

But for me somehow naps are converted into sleep

You have to balance things to ensure you get enough sleep - and your work done.

For me, right now, taking care of mental health is the most important now. If I am anxious, stress or having minor depression, I will not be able to do anything including sleep.
