What's that crazy lady up to now? I have a futon bed with the good old-fashioned kapok mattress. It was getting a bit flattened on the side I mostly lie on, so I decided to flip it around to even things out. Have you ever tried moving a kapok mattress? It's like trying to move a floppy, dead whale. It really requires two people. It took a while but I managed to do it all by my lonesome. Aren't ya proud of me? I know I am.

I'm glad you could move it. I've tried moving my king mattress by my lonesome and it's not easy. Yes, I'm proud of you.

Kapok is a fine, fibrous substance like cotton that is used as stuffing for cushions, soft toys, etc.

Oh, wow! Good job! Pretty and I had trouble flipping and turning my queen-sized mattress a couple of weeks ago.

@BarBaraPrz Yes, she couldn't reach the handles on her side and it was too heavy for her to control.

Kapok mattresses would be the worst mattresses to move. I'm surprised you didn't end up with it on top of you.

Well, I folded it onto itself and convinced it was in its best interest to turn. I even managed to adjust the angle of the bed by a few degrees and had the best sleep I've had in a while.

It's the old old type, before someone came up with the idea of putting coil springs in 'em. They just lay there and don't move at all.
