Another way to spend on defense of a country...

India has a huge defense budget... We have enemy on the west (Pakistan), enemy in the East (ok North East), China...we also had issues with Sri Lanka, in South which has economic issues ...and is being helped by China... Feels as if we are surrounded by enemies, right? But what I wanted to say was.................... Pakistan has economic issues. Ok. We don't have much, but we can help... The outcome I expect... Some educated Pakistanis will realize that India is not so bad...it does not wish Pakistan to sink...it wants its twin to survive. Reliance Industries' Mukesh Ambani helping younger brother ...Anil Ambani...something like that.. In the process, the politicos will not find it easy to pull the wool over the eyes of everybody. The anti India strategy will start to weaken. After all, the beneficiary would also be the taxpayers...they might leave the country if they are unhappy or for better prospects. Even so, they will not send the money back home, to propagate anti India system. In the process, enough money will not be available for spending on armed forces against India. This will help to reduce India's expenses on Western front... The present scenario... It becomes easier for those who are cornered economically to take to wrong activities like terrorism. They will join terrorist outfits so that their family gets some food...in the process, Indians lose our sons. Are our lives as cheap? I am not suggesting Charity... I am suggesting common sense and logic which will bring peace for future generations.

There are ulterior motives...the election pitches. Until they are confined to given topics and time for each topic is restricted for each politico, these politicos will evade the actual issues and harp on something that kinda unites people against another group be it a nation or religion or political party...sad that people get manipulated so easily.

It took years for us to reduce terrorism in our country and I don't want that it grows again in the future.

Are you sure it is reduced? I mean we never know who is waiting in the wings to do something bad. And in any event, you may have noticed, media ends up praising those in power...ignoring the negatives or underplaying the negatives...Sengar received bail. If Pakistan takes our help...it is not likely to go hammer and tongs at us. We could consider trade...yeah...we can start from there..

Now that China has stepped in, we have a formidable enemy on the west as well as east...what do you have to say? And America is way too far and Russia ...if it is not inclined to pat China's back, is busy with Ukraine war. America also does not need us. We have to be logical about our physical location too. America has an ally in Israel, and next it had in Pakistan...it stopped aid to Pakistan ..because it did not need it. Sometimes ...some bandages are good. The consistent attack on Muslims has also given rise to insecurities in other minorities leading to demand for khalistan..afresh. Lopsided way of tackling issues is not gonna help future generations.

Common sense isn't very common these days - and logic even less so.
