Staying in tent houses in the forests is very adventurous experience.

I stayed in tent houses in the forests in India and also Bhutan. I stayed with my family members. While the green cover and sound of mountain mynas and crickets is entertaining, there are risks also. There are bear, foxes, ferocious animals. The tent houses had domestic emus, turkeys and chicken. We could hear the sounds of the bear and other animals at night.

thanks Abhisek one of my tours was in a jungle near Thimphu in Bhutan. We were in the camp or tent house in the valley, we saw black bear in the hill. It was good it moved in another direction to the dark woods

@sathviksouvik My cousin went to a similar spot where they had a trained dog that shouts loudly whenever it senses animal. The dogs voice is tremendous so no animal would come beyond the boundary.

Did you ask your older son to sit outside the tent door and guard the family while you slept? He might have had fun wrestling with a bear while everyone else slept peacefully in the tent.

@DaddyEvil thanks DE the good thing is some lights are there around the tents in the evenings. Wild animals also love darkness

thanks DE he just peeped out at night and saw few wild dogs almost having similarity with foxes called dholas. He just jumped back and we locked the tent from inside.

Were the tents set up within a compound that kept the bigger animals out?

Looks like a nice site. But I'm not sure if I want to do this. I am not an adventurous person.
