At home, Luna and I.

My friends came to bring me home. And Luna came to welcome us home.
It took us some time to open the door as the heat was so big that we could not open it. At first we thought it was the key. But I had seen it turning.
So I turned and gave it a big push with my butt and the fence opened.
I´m in bed, resting until the heat subsides. I have no idea what to eat for dinner as I left all the things I bought there except for some sweet cookies.
Maybe I should ask for groceries. As Anita will not be around this week either, I can but some exquisite things.
I´ll go now to start the list.

Oh, my. I am glad you are well enough to be at home, but wish you had some food there. Hopefully you can get some very soon. Take care of yourself.

I always have something. And I had a lovely lunch at Dixie´s today. She made a very special spinach quiche with jamón Serrano at the bottom

@MarieCoyle We left part of it so Humberto will have a nice dinner. Dixie wanted us to finish it but it would have made the difference between bliss and too much.

I dearly love quiche. So good and can be easily reheated if left over. I bet it feels really good to be home again with your Luna.

I was almost sure that the problem was heat and not the lock. At last, in a moment of dispair I threw my butt at it and it opened.
I did not dare kick it with my feet as they hurt.

@wolfgirl569 Feet and hands hurt and nothing good can be done with thwm. The butt, on the other hand, is perfect for almost anything.

@JudyEv I have found that my butt has many uses as years go by. 2 years ago I fell in the bathroom and landed on my butt. The only problem I had was to get up. I had to slide to where the handwash was and use it as a cane. I was not hurt at all

@marguicha Mostly it's the car door when it doesn't quite shut properly.

Anita has not come every week lately. I suppose it is because she also wanted vacations. But thanks to that, I bought Camembert cheese and the goat cheese that Dixie buys.

When she does not have to pay Anita you can treat yourself with good food.

An acquaintance of ours had a Luna too, a black, sweet, mixed Labrado & Grey Hound lady dog. A pity that that Luna keeps having new owners. My acquaintance was the 5th or 6th owner - adopted Luna when she was 1YO. (Our acquaintance moved to another country, so she gave Luna away to a neighbor.)
