Frugal-ish Shopping: What does $184.09 get you at Walmart.

We just got back from a trip into town. We got a notification about fifteen minutes before noon that our order that was scheduled for pick up from Walmart between noon and on pm. We also went to snack guy and stopped at Taco Bell for lunch while we were in town. But this post is to show you what $184.09 gets you at Walmart with how prices and inflation are right now. I know I got a lot of meat. Which is good. It helped stock up the freezers and we should be good on meat for ten days to two weeks. I am not going to list everything out by price, because you can see the items and I just don't feel like listing everything one by one. But yeah. I know @FourWalls I got a million dollars worth of eggs. I had ordered a 60 count of eggs for $11 something, but they substituted it with these 3 eighteen packs of eggs for $8 and some change. So I guess I did pretty good as far as eggs are concerned.

Crazy, but your family will have meals for days so that's something at least.

You did very well. I am already figuring out what I want from Walmart when I order for delivery next week. I also pick and choose to get the best prices and to get me through the month,

Do you already have food like rice? We often have a higher ratio of a food item like brown rice to meat or beans. And vegies like cabbage/carrots etc.

Looks like a good haul...especially getting all that meat and eggs. $11 for a 60 pack of eggs would have been pretty good. One time we saw the price of that at $35. But $8 and some change is not too bad for 3 18 packs.

@thislittlepennyearns Well we could get the 60 pack of eggs for around $5 back in the day lol. Sometimes they were on sale for $3 and some change. But it is a great price for current times, definitely

I just found out a co-worker of mine has lots of chickens and doesn’t know what to do with all the eggs they are laying. Guess what? I’m going to help her out with those eggs! Lol

I like to have meat on hand. Although we live in the suburbs now, I would hate having to shop day by day but it seems some do. Old habits die hard I guess.
