What a Busy Day

Because more cold weather is predicted, I decided that pot roast would be a good idea. I had the roast and all I needed except onions. We are never out of onions but I made quick trip down the street to buy some, came home and went through a recipe I found online, a rub (various herbs for the roast), browning it, adding beef broth, celery, carrots, bay leaves, and finally got it into the crock pot.
Besides that, I sold four record albums online, had to find them, one is missing, so Anne got them packaged for me to ship to Texas. I need to print shipping labels later.
Then it will soon be time for lunch, followed by ping pong at 1 PM. But I took time out for a cup of tea and myLot anyway.

@allknowing We have from four to 10 people show up Tuesdays and Fridays. We have one table and play doubles for two hours, taking turns with different partners.

It was a busy one. The pot roast came out fine. We did take some fat out of the broth, and felt better about eating it. There is penty left over and one thing I want is beef enchiladas.

@RubyHawk I wish my vegetarian daughter would do more cooking. She uses on of those food services that delivers ready made meals to your home.

@JamesHxstatic Not really. He sees the regular doc next week. I make pancakes with all whole wheat flour then put home peanut butter on for protein.
