Hello everyone hope everyone is doing fine. I would like to share about one situation. One fine evening my mother is talking with his brother over phone. Then mom gave the mobile to her sister when she came. Mother went to do some work. So sister took phone and talked sometime. She suddenly completed the talk and gave mobile to me without asking that able to talk or not . I'm having the sinus headache and not in a mood to talk in call. I'm not at all ready to attend the call.I told her you should ask me before that I'm in mood to talk or not .She said it's not fair attitude. She said I never seen a person doing anyone like this . I don't think it's my mistake ,not everyone will be in same mood everyday. When being sick or low i don't take or attend any calls . She should understand that and not force me to attend call. Do you attend phone calls when you are not in a mood to talk ?. How would you react ?

I would answer the phone still even if I'm not in the mood to talk. Who knows what emergency is on the other line right.

That's the other immediate situation that we should react but when we are sick someone shouldn't force us to simply talk chit chat things .that's what the situation that I faced .

I don't like to talk on the phone. My friends know to send me a text if they expect me to answer them when I have time and feel like talking. A friend tried to hand me his phone to talk with someone and I hung up on them without talking at all.

I'm not a person who talks over phone all the time. My aunt already knows it but she simply force me and acts like whatever she do is right. She argued with me .

Me when I get a call but I'm too lazy to talk, just keep quiet pretending I don't hear, later if it's important He'll also send a WhatsApp message. I wonder why He have to call when he can still send WhastApp messages. *Shrugs*

So sorry to hear about your sinus? Is it better now? There was a time that I was on your position. All I I did is just a short answer and said, 'I am sorry I have to go to the toilet'. It's always a good reason to stop a conversation

Yes, I do that. I normally don't pick up a call if I am not comfortable talking to someone over the phone and I guess it is the best way than to pick it up and give it to someone else to talk to.

I won't answer a call if I'm not in the mood. I just left my phone ringing. It's time wasting if the caller is friend who does nothing but talking nonsense.

@Icydoll we can't expect people to understand us all the time. Things like this happen. We should not keep thinking about what has happened. Maybe the next time, if we are in a similar situation we must tell the other person at the other end, the true reason, in a polite way. I ain't a person who feels comfortable talking over the phone. If it's important I'll. But I feel more comfortable texting. Even my friends know the same. However, I feel like I should change this.

@Teekaaa She is the one who always keep teaching me and argues with me all the time wantedly like she is the only person knows everything. Even she does the same thing with mom . Being elder sister to her she fed up at times to make her understand. That's very simple thing and least common sense to not trouble others when they are sick . I literally have sinus headache for 4 days she knows that how painful it is . In that situation i can't handle calls and of course she kept silent will all my argument

If you're not feeling well, I can understand your attitude. You could also just say on the phone to the person how you're feeling and if you could call back later when you feel better. The only calls I don't answer are one's from telemarketers or scammers. Anyone I know is in my contacts, so the name comes up when they call.

@Shivram59 emergency call would be something that they continuously do calls ,so we can come to know it . The situation i faced was the person was in online just for chit chat and other person is forcing me to talk when I'm sick suddenly handed over phone to me . I think it's very uncomfortable

If it is emergency calls and someone wants helps we can't stop from attending. When we are sick we can't simply have chit chat calls others should understand that .

@Icydoll If it works, it's fine. Sometimes people call relentlessly and the phone must be answered only to tell them I'm sick, busy, etc. Keep it short and sweet.
