My neighbor has been MIA for weeks

It is strange. She is right across the landing from me. She moved here alone with her cat Oliver but had a boyfriend who visited regularly. After like a year he moved in and she said they were very happy. He is a police officer in town but not a nice person, IMO. We don't speak except to just say hi if we are passing on the stairs.
The girlfriend and her car hasn't been here for a few weeks now. I didn't see her move out but I also go to work for several hours each day during the week. It doesn't make sense to me for *her* to move out when it was her apartment in the first place. A pretty sign that she had outside the door is still there--you'd think she would have taken it if she moved out.
I hope she is okay.

As a good neighbour why don't you mobile her if you know her number?
Since you say her BF is not a nice person wonder where she is

Do you know where she works, maybe? You could drive by there and look for her car? If it was there, chances are she dumped the boyfriend, but I realize that isn't 100% fool proof, either.

I hope she's okay, too and not a victim of foul play. In this messed up country, you never know.

That's kind of eerie. Maybe you can ask him about her, but if he is not a nice person, that may not be the thing to do. Very strange, I must agree.

That is interesting, Does not seem like a good situation, I there a landlord who could check out her apartment, I would hate to think her cat is all alone in there or something worse,
