A scrap metal helicopter and blooming heather

The photo was taken in Boddington, Western Australia, on our way home from a school reunion. The ‘helicopter’ is made from scrap material but isn’t it cleverly done?
The rest of this discussion is about something else entirely.
We’ve been listening to a couple of Scottish songs including Wild Mountain Thyme. Although it’s a lovely song, the line about the ‘blooming heather’ never sits very well with me. The word ‘blooming’ as I know is a bit of a negative word. We might talk about a ‘bloomin’ nuisance’ or a ‘bloomin’ pain in the neck. It’s a minor (very minor) expletive so to me, every time I hear ‘blooming heather’, it grates with me. Such a shame as it’s a lovely song.

The helicopter is cool.
For "blooming". I just think of blooming flowers.

Cool helicopter. Blooming isn't negative in this country.

@JudyEv The only issue is that they lack an opportunity. If there could be equal opportunity for everyone we could be having an amazing world.

As I have always said English is a funny language. Blooming is used when one is annoyed over something. Remember that line in the movie My Fair Lady 'Move your bloomin ar......'? (lol)

Oh wow, I had no idea that it wasn't a nice word in Aussie English. Here it simply means that a tree or bush or plant is showing blossoms. I learn something new everyday thanks to you.

Nope, it's made of corrugated iron mostly so it's just a novelty item.
