Working From Starbucks

I attended Leadership Class today at 2PM. The host or point person is the teacher who is a member of my home church.
After the lesson, we gathered the students by 5s and talked to them about lessons learned.
They were interactive. I am happy that all 5 students did not repeat others answers.
After the lesson and the program, I went with churchmates at Starbucks. Been a while since I spent here. Maybe 11 years ago was my last visit.
Here at the table, there are 2 other people plus my churchmates. I am the only one without laptop. They are working while sipping teas and choco drinks. My other officemate is reviewing for his law school class. And I am here posting on MyLot.

With a lot of freelancers and remote workers, coffee shops such as Starbucks have been the go-to place for the environment that they offer.

So I do not get it why companies insists on working onsite in the office if work can be done remotely.

With the advancement of technology, even the innovations of companies, we can see these people working comfortably outside the office setting or home office set up.

It sounds like you've had a busy day. I've never been into a Starbucks but I have taken Pretty... I waited in the car while she ran in and got the drink she wanted. (I load money onto a Starbucks card for her every few months so she can get whatever drinks she wants when she feels like having one.)

They have new products or maybe have been introduced years ago. And since I did not visit the store for years, how would I know? Lol.

I wouldn't know, either. Pretty always gets some kind of vanilla coffee drink. I tasted it once and didn't like it.

@DaddyEvil my go-to drink was the Java Cream Chip 11 years ago. Do you remember me going on training back in November 2022? We had Starbucks but was delivered to us. Same drink I had Java Cream Chip. But this week, I had the Pomegranate Juice something.

I wish people would leave the gadgets and enjoy for a while. In order to be more productive, we all are always glued to technology.

@jobelbojel People are so much into gadgets that they are lacking on their social skills. Social media makes you a social aloof... that's the harsh reality.
