Nice weather yesterday

We had really warm weather yesterday and I think it gave me a mental lift. Or maybe it was the nap I took when I got home yesterday.
Anyway, I have a lot of "business" type things I need to get done, and I had neglected myLot this morning. I have gotten down to business on the other things, though.
One of those things was to order some printer ink and a replacement mouse on Amazon. I went cheap on both, but hope they will be satisfactory.
Once I post this I will go start our evening meal.
Other business things include looking into some online work so I will not be totally impoverished this summer. Time is flying by.

We had 70F yesterday and today but it rained both days, too. We had a flood watch issued yesterday but that changed to a flood warning late this morning. It started storming around 2 pm and the rain is pouring down.

We have had foggy/drizzly here and there this week. Fog on the roadway due to rivers, streams and ponds and the warm weather. Just drive through the clouds. I am "at the top of the hill" in my little town so never got hit with the historic floods. In May we usually have the river at the other end of town rise up to just under the bridge.

@DaddyEvil It will subside, though. I need to have my mainline cleaned out, but it is not backing into the house. I am "at the top of the hill" in my town. They built a dam in the 1950's because the town used to flood so much, but it never got up to the top of our hill. I have seen watermarks in the buildings from the flood of '51.

@GardenGerty Parts of our city are flooded... Not my area, though. It has been storming since yesterday afternoon. It's bad enough that the sewers are backing up and we can't flush now... It doesn't normally get this bad here. I went in to wash the dishes about midnight and the sink started backing up on me so dirty dishes are just waiting until the flood waters subside...
Edit to add: We've gotten over an inch in less than 24 hours...

@RubyHawk Oh that is just what we say about personally feeling energized from the sun. I do not have solar panels although the way my house is aligned they would work well.

The temperature went up to 36 degrees C in our area. Summer is here and I dread the high temperature. You reminded me that I will have to buy ink for my printer as well. Are they cheap on Amazon? I guess I will have to try to shop there too. I hope you would find some online work. I'm searching for one as well because I need some income too.

When that Spring weather eventually starts to heat up it puts me in a great mood and provides a lift. Sunshine and outdoor activity is a welcome change from cold temps and staying indoors.
