The Moon and The Star

I went out for an evening stroll with my granddaughter and I saw this beautiful image up in the sky. I couldn't help but get a photo of it. I wished though that I had a better camera to capture the beauty of it all. The round small "ball" is actually a star and the bright thing below it is a quarter moon. The image is not so clear because of the wind and the clouds.
The star shone brilliantly just on top of the moon and I was wondering if it was some sort of omen. Whether good or bad omen, I'm not sure.
What do you think? Have you seen anything like it before? I welcome all your comments. Thank you.

@Jenaisle They surely are. I must get out. It is easy as I can see the sky right at the entrance door.

I've read it in the news, that it would be a rare sight in the sky on March 24-25, if I remember it right. Brightest planet Venus hides behind the moon. But sadly, I wasn't able to see it. Not sure if there's still another one coming in the next days.
