Monday Morning Brief

Good morning from a still dark, Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. I just turned on the news so I can see the weather report. Currently, I'm sitting in my swimsuit and bathrobe, waiting to know if I'm going swimming this morning. Roads were slippery yesterday, so I didn't make it to church.
Yesterday saw a lot of melting from the snow we got on Saturday. Still, it was a good quiet day.
Today, I'm planning to go to the pool this morning. Depending on the weather report, I'll be leaving in half an hour. I also have an exercise class in the community room this morning. I think that's it for my plans for today.
I already did the laundry, got it folded, and put it away. I'm also finished with the notifications. For now.
Okay, the weather report is good. I'm getting dressed and heading to the pool.

Sounds like you already had a busy morning....hope the rest of your day goes well!
Not much going on here. I did get an hour workout in myself. Counting calories, as best I can but not cutting down the carbs today, or tomorrow at least.

I don't know about well-planned. I was up at 1:30 this morning. It did feel good to have almost everything accomplished before I went to the pool. Thank you.

It's nearly 4am here and I've just finished my first meal. I've already responded to a few posts so I'll get off mylot in about an hour or so and clean the kitchen before my mom gets up to make breakfast.

I have a load of pants washing that’s all I’ve gotten done so far by 11am. I gotta run food to my daughter at work she forgot hers other than that I don’t have any plans out of the house. I have to prep dinner, cut up and marinate chicken, and was a few loads of laundry that’s all for my plans inside the house today.
I think it was wise with that storm that you said home yesterday but am sorry you missed church.

It sounds like a light day for you.
I don't like missing church. My hug - o - meter is way down. If I don't get a hug soon, I'm going to go toxic. 
That's not the only thing I miss about church though. The teaching is always wonderful.

It looks like today is going to be a quiet day. I was iffy on walking today, because there has been rain in the forecast, but it isn't raining just kind of foggy, as long as it doesn't. I will do it. The weather I looked at last night looked like it was going to clear up this afternoon. Enjoy the pool!

Enjoy the swim.
I wouldn't mind going for a swim but all the pools have closed as keeping them hot enough proved to be too expensive.

I'm sure you're happy that you'll be able to get to the pool. Any snow you get now will probably melt pretty quickly.
We have sunshine here this morning but rain coming by afternoon. I'm waiting for my coffee to kick in so I can get stuff done
