Amazon, it is addicting

I am fortunate to do a lot of things that earn me Amazon cards. I even was given $10 which I took as an Amazon gift card when I gave blood this time.
Because we live so far from bigger stores, I have found it is so easy to just order things like my computer mouse and ink from them.
Today I got a book light. The lighting in our church sanctuary is not friendly to my eyes. I got an LED book light with three different intensities of light, and it is rechargeable too, from a usb port.
It will make all kinds of things easier and I am so glad.
Pretty soon the Amazon delivery people will know me by name.
Other people I know order a lot from Sam's Club, and they pay a pretty good fee for their membership. But they live at least an hour from all the shopping places, too.
I am finding I save money if I just stay out of the stores.

If there were delivery services here, Pretty and I wouldn't leave the house except for doctor visits.... Which would be okay with us.
But since most of my doctors are in Springfield and I need to see them once a month, it's just as easy to stop by a store there and buy what we need.

We go to Newton for church on Sunday and will often shop then. I just hate the Wal Mart in Newton, though. I do like Dillons there, and gas is cheaper there.

@GardenGerty The price of gas is cheaper where we live than in Springfield but Walmart prices are about the same in both places. They are making some Walmart stores in Springfield harder to access unless you know Springfield well, which I don't...

That's the way to do it!
Do you happen to use the Amazon Shopper Panel app? It's an official Amazon app and they will give you $10 to share 10 receipts with them each month. I get surveys pretty regularly, too, which adds a few cents more to each month's payment.

I have not tried that yet. Need to do it. 10 store receipts or Amazon receipts?

@yukimori Wow. I do not live near anything, but I bet I can still get ten receipts.

@GardenGerty They accept receipts from almost any store other than their own. A lot of restaurants count, too... I stop at Panera a lot to take advantage of the Unlimited Sip Club membership and even those receipts for $0 transactions are accepted as valid.

In this case the ink was on sale, we shall see if it is good quality, but I saved $15, plus no gas cost or wear and tear on the car.

It's very handy to use, comes right to the door. I don't have to go from store to store to buy household items, and it definitely saves gas in my case. Plus, many times it arrives the next day.

Oh that is good Heather when you give blood.
Yeah staying not shopping is best if you can avoid it.

I have Amazon Prime, delivery is free for most things. In addition I get music and stream things on TV. With the cost of gas delivery might be cheaper than driving.
